Vera Holte

 
 

Vera Holte is a Norwegian actress  (Member of The Norwegian Actors Equity Association.) She studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute (96) and The Method Studio (97-98) in London. Since the age of 13 she has appeared in feature films, TV-series and stage productions at NRK, Norsk film, Haugesund theatre, Nordland theatre. She is known for her work on  Monster (TV-serie NRK 2017), Øyevitne (TV-serie NRK 2014), På Bølgelengde (Nordås Film 2011) and Nattseilere (NRK & Norsk Film 1986) She established Holte Productions in 2004 where she produces and acts. 2007-2008  and 2016-17 Holte was the recipient of an Arts Council work-scholarship. Vera has a MA (Cand. phil.) in Drama and Theatre form Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (1999). She has taught ”Devising”, Drama and Theatre-studies, NTNU. ”Stanislavskij-methods” at Volda University College, NSKI, Forstudium Teater at Oslo municipal school of music and performing arts, Danvik community college and Bodø University College. ” Reminisce Theatre and Drama” at (UiT) Harstad University College.


Vera loves the Ivana Chubbuck technique. In March 2015 she was accredited

to teach the Chubbuck technique by Ivana Chubbuck Studios.
